Brian is a musician and blogger.
Brian walks an uncommon path. Motivated by a difficult beginning, it has been his life’s mission to find answers to questions like: Who am I? Why are things this way? and, Is there a better way?
Living through a period of depression and alcoholism taught many important lessons. Through years of studying, meditation, and self-reflection those difficulties were gradually overcome, and Brian now sees the way of peace, love, and compassion for all living beings to be the most in alignment with our individual and collective highest good.
Brian now seeks to share his truth as a musician and through his writings. By creating the B COE Foundation in 2010, he hopes to contribute to the important cause of alleviating animal suffering.

Brian has a degree in Philosophy and a degree in Hospitality Management, both from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He also attended graduate school at UCLA.
From January 2000 – April 2001 he lived in South Korea and worked as an English teacher.
He played drums on the 2009 Ufonik album, Dreaming of Another Life.
Brian is also an Aikido student, and he writes regularly on his blog here at briancoe.net.
